Travel package: Munich's zest for life

Dive into the city life

A smile, bright eyes, a mischievous "Servus" - it is often the everyday moments that conjure up the Munich joie de vivre in your face. These small pieces of luck are hidden behind numerous corners of Munich.

What to expect on your weekend

Friday: central hotels, Munich's old town, Bavarian cuisine reinterpreted

Check in for your Munich weekend: Either to the Platzl Hotel in the centre of the old town, where Bavarian hospitality and the proximity to Munich life are combined with the highest quality and modern lifestyle, or to the Schiller5 Hotel, which combines design with excellent service. With the included Munich Card you can use public transport free of charge and reach Marienplatz from the Schiller5 Hotel after only two stops.

After arriving at Marienplatz, it is only a few meters to the square called Platzl. Here you can look forward to an extraordinary 4-course menu in the restaurant Pfistermühle - food is pleasure and therefore also a piece of joie de vivre!

Samstag: Stadtführung mit München-Experte, Gärtnerplatztheater

Depending on the season, we will take you on a tour with a real Munich expert: Enjoy a tasting tour at the Viktualienmarkt, a favourite place of the locals or learn more about Munich's architectural highlights during a guided tour.

In the evening we will take you to a place that is brimming with the joy of life: the Gärtnerplatztheater. The State Theatre on the Gärtnerplatz of the same name is a house with a unique profile and a tradition of more than 150 years. Opera, operetta, musical, dance, concerts - there is (almost) nothing here that does not exist!

Sunday: brunch and live jazz at Park Café

Simply enjoying yourself - where could you do it better than at an extensive brunch on Sunday? Sleep in and enjoy the popular Soul Food Jazz Brunch on Sunday at the Park Café in Munich. At the 20-metre long buffet, everyone is sure to find what their heart desires. Add to that the sounds of live jazz - that sounds like a wonderful time, doesn't it?
