The Münchner Kindl is a child-like figure of a monk who has been adorning the municipal coat of arms since the 13th century.

Simply help each other!

Your solidarity is still very important: The situation in recent months has brought many businesses, some of which have been part of Munich for generations and are highly valued by locals and tourists, into great difficulties. Please continue to help support these houses together with München Tourismus.

Traditional restaurants, cafés, bakeries, world-class stages or excursion destinations: When everything is going as usual, you often don't notice how natural these establishments are part of our everyday life and how much we have grown fond of them.

After the far-reaching restrictions imposed by the corona virus, everything is now different: most houses have had to close for a long time or shut down operations heavily. Although most of them were able to reopen, the regulations are still very strict, so the future is uncertain for many.

So that you and Munich fans from all over the world can once again be guests in your favourite houses, München Tourismus launched a voucher campaign at the beginning of the Corona crisis. The concept is simple: Together with you, we support the establishments in selling vouchers for their services in order to generate additional income in these still difficult times.

By purchasing a voucher now, you can quickly and easily help to ensure that Munich remains a place where locals and their guests can continue to enjoy the unmistakable and traditional flair of the Bavarian capital.
