The Roiger House, designed by architect Max Ostenrieder, where my pretzel bakery is situated in Munich's old town.
As a district ambassador, I would like to dispel this misconception about Munich:
That there are only snobs in Munich. I have met a lot of great people here and made friends. My team is a colourful mix of different nationalities and personalities, and everyone contributes. That makes me happy every day.
The catchiest Munich song:
Even if it's not my taste in music: “Ohne dich schlaf ich heut Nacht nicht ein“ (I will not fall asleep without you tonight) by Münchner Freiheit.
Isar or Eisbach?
Eisbach (man-made river), mainly because it is closer to my bakery in Schwabing. But my favourite place is the Maria-Einsiedel-Bad (natural pool).
Beer garden or Bar?
Bar! In my opinion, the best drinks are served at Goldene Bar.
Philharmonic orchestra or brass band music?
Neither: I'm into techno and electro music. It energises me and my team while baking and wakes us up in the mornings.
Lederhosen/Dirndl: yes or no?
Leather trousers! I love to wear them.
A weekend in the mountains or by the lake?
It depends on the season, but I rarely do either.

Weinhaus Neuner in the old town – Munich's oldest wine house with the best schnitzel in town.
The best place in Munich to have a Sundowner?
Best on Sundays on the terrace of the Goldene Bar in the Haus der Kunst (art gallery).
The best place in Munich for a romantic date?
Landersdorfer & Innerhofer. Great, seasonal food without much fuss – and you can choose various menus, depending on how long you want your evening to linger.
The most beautiful walk?
I prefer cycling.
